Brantner green solutions is rethinking waste disposal and is therefore fully committed to the circular economy. Today’s waste is tomorrow’s resource: as many recyclable materials as possible are returned to new use through recycling and upcycling. Continuous exchange with customers and partners, as well as ongoing efficiency improvements, make Brantner an innovation driver and a leading company in the waste management industry.

Brantner green solutions operates 11 sorting facilities, one biogas plant, 13 landfills and 11 composting facilities in Europe, including Austria’s most modern composting facility, “Erdenreich”, in Gneixendorf, Lower Austria. Around 1,300 municipalities and cities, as well as around 27,500 customers in Austria and abroad, are now served by Brantner. This makes Brantner green solutions an important municipal service provider and regional employer.

The spin-off Brantner Digital Solutions focuses on digital concepts that enable an even more efficient implementation of the resource cycle. Its ongoing efforts to connect IoT areas in order to generate added value give Brantner a pioneering role across the DACH region when it comes to the “technologies of tomorrow”.

The Brantner Group
Today’s Brantner Group traces its roots back to the traditional family business founded by the Brantner family in 1936. The company is now managed by the third generation at its founding location in Krems an der Donau. Today, Brantner has 67 branches and joint ventures in five countries and employs 2,745 people. Its areas of activity comprise the divisions Brantner green solutions and Brantner logistic solutions.
